A Greener Earth
The theme I chose Is called " A Greener Future?" the talks in this theme discuss how we can make the future more sustainable. The topic I am going to focus on Is how can the earth become more sustainable by human actions? I am interested In this because I want to be able to educate people about how they can change the world little by little just by small actions they can take. This will be challenging for me because there are so many ways that people can help the earth but i want to know smaller things that people will actually WANT to so and it will slowly help the earth. This matters to me because this is the world everybody lives in and they should care about what they are doing to the world they live in. Five questions I could ask an expert about this. 1. What are things humans do that greatly impact the environment In a negative way? 2. What Is something small, that If educated everybody could do to participate in making the environment more sustainable? 3. How could a community help broadcast what the society can do to help? 4. Is there something that humans should all together stop doing because It negatively impacts the environment they live in? 5. How big of an impact would it make if everybody in the world helped by doing something?

Final Learning Adventure #3
As I reached the end of the two weeks I feel successful with my achievements, the task seemed simple. Go out and take pictures and compare them to Michael Freeman's this way my photos will be improved but that's not exactly how easy it was. I had many struggles throughout my project such as having the right setting and background, also I thought that I was going to focus on nature, outdoor photography but many of Michael's pictures were with people but were still outside. I enjoy nature photography more but I had to experience a different type of photography, this was challenging. My friends really helped me achieve the photos I had in mind. I learned while doing this project that you can really be motivated If you are doing something you enjoy I had no problem going out and doing this project because it was something that I am passionate about and I actually want to learn more about photogrpahy and become better at taking photos.
At the beginning of this project I thought How can I really increase my learning about photography? And my vision of success was comparing my photo's to an actual professional photographer and this being help myself as a "photographer". This helped me complete my project because It was different from the ways I was used to so I was excited to see what new levels I could reach and If this could actually effect me, which It did. Michael had great tips about the editing and types of lighting angles to make the pictures look best, this really helped me understand while seeing his examples of what he meant in his own pictures that were in the books.

Learning adventure #2
Last week I went to the Library, I found many books that Michael Freeman published even though I had never heard of him I just decided to check the three books out. That night when I got home I started skimming through the books and wrote down many helpful tips and facts that he suggests to make your photography better. He would have examples of his own work to show you exactly what he means and how you can express it. So over the week and through the weekend I went out and tried to capture what he did in his pictures, I got many similar end results. Although they were didn't have to be the same picture the way you edit them can effect the back lighting, shadows, and much more.

Learning Adventure Blog Post #1
My learning goal for the end would be to have the knowledge of the photographer I'm researching, this means my photos will not only be improved in the ways that I have learned but they will be similar to the photographers pictures also. I would say that being successful at the end result would be the out some of how my pictures are compared to the photographer I studied about, not only that but also experiencing new and different ways to take photos, such as lighting, editing, angles...etc.
I need to learn new ways that can make my pictures intrigue somebody, not have them be just average that anybody could do.The internet is a big resource also checking out books at the library. I could potentially change the person I am researching or not just do one person, that would help with the variety. Although I have not chosen the person yet..I plan to go to the library tomorrow to chose somebody and then also do more internet research.

Learning Adventure Topic
The task for my learning challenge is research about a famous photographer and take their experience and measures into my own photos.
Technique: I plan to achieve my goal by having research done and also to see how my photos have been bettered from getting the research.
Time it would be over the two weeks, and I would probably spend about 4 hours each week? Not sure?
No team just me! There may be people in my photos though.
Photography Is something that I am very fascinated with and It intrigues me I love seeing how a picture can turn out, then when you mix editing its that much cooler! There Is a huge purpose for why am I chose to do this, I would love to be a master at this someday, so I could take family Pictures, Wedding pictures, senior etc...
The purpose for this project I chose to focus on Is because I am very passionate about photogrpahy. This would definitely help me learn more techniques and It would help my skills.

My Flow Test Results!
The feelings I had when I was In "flow", I was either doing homework or with friends this makes sense because that's mostly what I usually do. I marked down that I felt either stressed out, exhausted, or just good. I was more "flow friendly" during the afternoon or evenings,I am never In a good mood In the morning. I could increase the amount of optimistic challenges by not procrastinating this would make me less stressed out and more happy all the time. That is also how I can reduce the distracted feelings I get from all the stressful homework and projects. This taught me that i should be more willing to open my horizon and not be so down, procrastination does not help me to feel good!

Can you feel Beauty?
Can everything in some way be beautiful? Does it effect how we treat things depending on weather they are beautiful or not? How do you feel beauty?
Richard Seymour's talk is about beauty, what beauty is, how you can see and feel it and what makes beauty. I learned that something may not be beautiful on the outside but when you get to know the story about it, it can completely change your opinion. For example Richard shows a drawing, you can see that it is very blank. Black and white, kind of scribbled. But when he tells you that the drawing was the last thing a 5 year old girl did before she died from cancer it simply becomes more beautiful due to the background. Everything can be beautiful in its own way depending on the way you view it. I feel that people respect objects more and treasure them more often if they have some sort of beauty in them, such as color, abstract, shape etc.. To wrap up the discussion a question i would have for the reader would be do you believe that people treat items based on how they look? Does it matter if something has color or texture weather its big or small? Or is everything treated the same?

Are school budgets breaking US schools?
Bill Gates states his opinion on how states in the U.S are causing to break school budgets. He mostly focuses on California State because that's where he is located.
He says that California does many things to prove that they have gone out of control with their spending money such as borrowing money, withholding money, sell of residence of tobacco, and defer payments. He says its verse the old and the young the older people who pay taxes are being forced to support the younger students but since the education cost has raised they do not agree to pay it.the elderly also has to pay in health care obligations. When you have growth in the population and technology this makes everything more expensive for education. Do you agree or disagree that costs are getting higher due to the population growth?

Does magic lead to brain power?
Keith Barry talks about how the brain works, and how basic some things can be but due to the brain magic that he does you can see that he makes it so you can read the persons eyes, which makes your brain process.
It intrigued me to see that learning how people think leads to the same process to everybody. Also the skills he had to make people believe that they were being touched but really he was just moving around that person which made their brains think they were being touched and they actually felt it. The questions i would have if i were in the audience would be what things in the brain make everybody think the same because there are some part where everyone HAS to think differently. I wonder how he could make people feel like they are in a daze but in reality it is just the way the persons brain functions. The most brought up question from the audience was "how can somebody just be read so easily by looking at that person?". I feel the magic of the brain is brought to you by the way your senses are. If you are uptight your senses are harder to read them when you are relaxed. He also proves that when he has simple tasks the reader follows the directions but doesn't realize there is a much easier way for the task to be done. For you as the reader, do you believe that the human brain is functioned by the way your mind tells it to? Why or why not? Do you believe that the human brain has a way to be hypnotized into believing what one tells you?

Are schools killing creativity or nurturing it?
Ken Robinson believes that students in today's world are not being able to use their own creativity. What would your opinion be when you think of teachers and how they are teaching their students these days?
This TED talk intrigued me first off because just by reading the title i automatically agreed with what i thought he was going to be talking about mostly. This then made me think about what schools could do different instead of taking the creativity and imagination of ones mind. This video raises many questions i can ask myself like, why has the curriculum changed? Shouldn't these children in the new century be able to have the same goals as some people 20 years ago who were students? Have teachers taken out a curriculum where students have it all handed it to them and they do not have to be imaginative? Ken Robinson says " Suddenly degrees aren't worth anything, when i was a student if you had a degree you had a job. If you didn't have a job its because you didn't want one." This means that yes you can get through school, but does a degree matter these days? I believe that when you have a degree then you get into a 4 year college which gives you an occupation in the end. A question I have for you as the reader is do you think that schools have changed over time looking at the curriculum? If so how and what do you think has changed about it?
